Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress has been using police to try and stop the Youth March by DYFI

The Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi Government led by the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress has been using police to try and stop the Youth March by DYFI from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Uran to Chaityabhoomi in Dadar, Mumbai. The Youth March demanding employment and against privatisation as well as the divisive CAA-NPR-NRC has been dealt with in the most brutal manner by the Maharashtra police. Defying threats and attacks, thousands of youth have joined the March. Police arrested more than 900 of them in a desperate bid to stop the protest from reaching Mumbai. They also barricaded the BTR Memorial Library in Belapur, Navi Mumbai in which hundreds of marchers were staying.

The accompanying photo shows Com.Preethy Sekhar, Maharashtra State Secretary of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) being attacked by police personnel. Salute the resolve of DYFI activists who are determined to carry forward the struggle come what may.
